Vercelli Enygma Besta T

I was in the market for a new rod for several reasons, firstly a stiffer rod was needed to handle the bigger leads and baits, then the fact that my current rod was shorter and ringed for multiplier use. A friend of mine suggested the Vercelli as it has the backbone whilst still maintaining a sensitive tip action.
It comes in 3 pieces and has a casting class of 150g to 300g which is 5 to 10oz in old money. I used it last week coupled with my Vega Squadra fixed spool reel and although I blanked it increased my casting distance by around 50%.
